A WELL DIRECTED INTERDISCIPLINARY TEAM, FIVE STEPS, SEVEN MEETING DAYS

A typical study involves a team of five people representing various areas within the company. During the course of five systematic phases, directed by an experienced Value Specialist, the team will identify poor value function areas and propose creative solutions for improving their value.

The five phases:

1. information phase; or function- and cost-
analysis

2. creativity and
brainstorming

3. evaluation

4. development

5. presentation

the entire process
typically takes six to
seven meeting days
,
spread over a period of
four to six weeks.
